Our Kaua'i Adventure: January 28-29, 2006

Here are a few pictures from our adventure on Kaua'i this past weekend. We tried to do things we had not ever done before. Included in our adventure was:

1. Hiking aimlessly in Waimea Canyon, fruitlessly searching for a water fall.
2. Enjoying the awesome power of Wailua Falls.
3. Swimming at the beach near Kapa'a.
4. Hanging at the hotel pool and hot tub.
5. Eating at "The Shack" and making a new friend.
6. Checking out the bird santuary at the Kilauea Lighthouse and seeing all the endangered Nene geese (Hawaii's state bird).
7. Snorkeling in Kalihiwai and getting spooked by the big dropoff from shallow reef to deep ocean.
8. Exploring the Hanalei lo'i (taro patches).
9. Eating in historic Hanalei town.

We actually did a lot in two days. It was great fun! Enjoy the pictures!
